IN MOTION - ON GOING SERIES

This is a series of digital drawings focused on the female presence throught motion and garment. It usually starts with a few spontaneous drops of colour which stimulate the imagination. Lines and body parts are added revealing consequently the whole figure.

The theme of garment and movement appears stronger in my work after a long phase of interest in abstract motives and landscapes. The same goes for the use colour, which builds a counterpoint to the extensive black and white body of work. But instead of analysing i mostly find these drawings attractive for the subconscious hints and also my physical reaction to what we collectivelly experienced under pressure during the pandemic. A rush towards liberation.
